Terms of Service

Service

Cyban provides deepfake monitoring, detection, and takedown assistance for individuals. We do not guarantee removal of all content in all cases, particularly content hosted on offshore servers outside legal jurisdiction.

Payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time. No refunds for partial months.

Your responsibility

You must only submit photos of yourself. Submitting photos of others without their consent is prohibited.

Limitation of Removal Guarantee

Cyban will make all reasonable efforts to remove or suppress infringing content identified during monitoring, including filing DMCA takedown notices, platform abuse reports, and search engine deindexing requests. However, Cyban does not guarantee the removal of all identified content.

Removal success depends on the policies and cooperation of third-party platforms and hosting providers. Some platforms, particularly those hosted in jurisdictions outside of New Zealand, the United States, or the European Union, may not comply with takedown requests. In such cases, Cyban will pursue all available alternatives including search engine deindexing to limit the visibility and spread of the content.

Cyban is not liable for any damages arising from a platform's refusal or failure to remove content following a valid takedown request. Where content cannot be removed, Cyban will notify the client and, where applicable, provide a referral to legal professionals who may be able to pursue further action.
